The Rhode Island Interscholastic League will be offering a Coaches and Athletic Director's Conference on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at the North Kingstown High School from 9:00am - 4:00pm.
- The purpose of the conference is to provide an opportunity for coaches and athletic directors to improve and share knowledge and ideas in a workshop environment.
- The morning will be dedicated to a workshop in sport specific and general coaching topics.
- In addition, the afternoon will be dedicated to providing coaches hired after January 1, 2012 with the ability to fulfill the RIIL In-Person Course Requirement for renewal of their five-year RI Department of Education Coaching Permit.
- Our goal is to make the day educational and affordable for all coaches and athletic directors. As you know, education is an important part of the continuing development of coaches and our objective is to provide support, help, advice and guidance that will ultimately translate into a better experience for the student-athletes we serve.
